From June 21st to 24th, German time, the German Robotics and Automation Technology Trade Exhibition (AUTOMATICA) was held at the Munich Exhibition Center. The exhibition covers multiple fields such as robot industrial production lines and commercial robots, and is the world's largest robotics industry and automation technology expo.
AUTOMATICA 2016 focused on five major themes: 1. Mechatronics; 2. Electronic drive technology; 3. Integrated assembly solutions; 4. Robots; 5. Machine vision (industrial imaging processing). The scope of exhibits includes: industrial robots, safety technology, supply technology; professional service robots; machine vision; components and positioning systems, assembly stations and systems; drive technology, sensor technology, control system technology, and software. This exhibition has approximately 45,000 visitors (+30%) and 839 exhibitors (+16%) from 47 countries. The exhibitors include KUKA, FANUC, ABB, DENSO, EPSON, Bosch, Fraunhofer, igus, SIEMENS, Beckhoff, Festo, etc.
(IT2Industry and AUTOMATICA: Automation and IT Platform)
In the future, automation and IT will go hand in hand. IT2Industry provides a unique platform for this.
(Service robots in progress)
Service robots record its strong growth on AUTOMATICA, offering a fascinating perspective on everyday life in the future: ambulances in hospitals or inventory robots in department stores, service robots as driverless systems or as human assistants.
(China goes towards AUTOMATICA)
China's interest in AUTOMATICA is unprecedented. The number of visitors and exhibitors has more than tripled. The prosperity of China's automation is becoming more and more noticeable in AUTOMAITCA. A total of 13 delegations came from China.
(Workplace4.0 - People become the focus)
New production methods – new work processes: Work 4.0 is a theme of AUTOMATICA. In the future humans will work alongside machines. Humans are in the spotlight because of their emotional intelligence, and robots are assisting them.
AUTOMATICA 2016 covers all aspects of automation: from single components to complete systems, from specific applications to related services; it presents the entire automation industry chain, bringing together suppliers, buyers, corporate management, product developers and designers , each takes what he needs.
AUTOMATICA 2016 has exceeded all expectations and has reached a new dimension, demonstrating a deep understanding of future production based on digitalization, human-robot collaboration and service robots.
